VARMAKELDA
- The warm spring south of Fuglafjørður
This is a spring which, since the Middle Ages, people have believed has healing qualities. The water's temperature is always around 18°C. Even though the spring is insignificant in size, it is a popular tourist attraction and it is still the centre of the festival "Varmakelda" which is celebrated each year (first weekend in July) in Fuglafjørður.
